Welcome to a month of high hopes and mediocre posts.

It's that time of year again---NaBloPoMo. National Blog Posting Month. A phenomenon thought up by one our geekier blogging counterparts and spread as a challenge throughout the blogging community to the point where now EVERY month is NaBloPoMo-ready; you just have to pick the month and follow through.

I'm a purist, so I'm sticking with November. And it's November 1st. So here I am. Yeah, this post really IS that bad so far. I know. But this is what happens when you commit to blogging every single day and your first day is the day after Halloween AND the first day of the end of daylights saving time. It's 7:15, but it feels like 8:15 and I didn't realize it before, but apparently by 8:15 at night, I am what is sometimes referred to as, "toast." So while earlier in the day I had high hopes for the posting the Halloween post and had even gone so far as to scan in pictures of me in my Halloween costumes from 1979 and 1980 as well as some from my days of drunken debauchery (read: before I walked down the aisle and got knocked up). But now that's late (and I'm old), I just don't have it in me.

But I will post it tomorrow. And I will be extending my own NaBloPoMo challenge by posting in ALL THREE *gasp!!!* of my blogs daily. This one will definitely be my primary focus. You can bet that No More Fat Sarah will undoubtedly focus on me bitching about how some staple of my daily life (I'm looking at you, Starbucks Chai tea latte) is far too many Weight Watchers points and that I hate hate hate dieting. But hopefully I might lose an actual pound or two, since I have to post over there daily. How humiliating if I post for 30 days and don't lose any weight!!! Over at Frustrated English Teacher (where I haven't posted since July--FAIL!) I expect that I will write about the two book clubs I've joined that are meeting this month, and I think I might post a favorite passage from my nightly reading and share some of my deep thoughts about the passage---ha. Yeah, I just pretended that I have deep thoughts. Once upon a time, maybe. Now? Not so much. But I'll try.

So there you have it, interwebs. I'm sure you've got lots on your plate this month, but if you're super bored, I'll have THREE different things for you to read every day. Enjoy.

You are ambitious! I did two last year, and that was hard. Good luck with NaBloPoMo!
